MINDFULLY JOURNEYING TOWARD AUTHENTICITY & WELLBEING

I am a practicum student currently completing my Master of Clinical Social Work at UBC Okanagan. My journey toward becoming a counsellor began when I received invaluable acceptance and guidance from my own therapist at a young age. Inspired by that experience, my goal is to help you discover and connect with your most authentic self.

Together, we’ll explore how your past experiences influence your current behaviours, identify recurring themes, and open up new perspectives. I’ll guide you in aligning your daily actions with your core values, with the goal of enhancing your overall well-being. My focus is to help you gain insight into the sources of distress, disruption, and disconnection in your life, while working together to set practical, actionable goals for meaningful change.

My approach is informed by narrative theories, psychodynamic theories, and positive psychology. I draw on techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and emotion-focused therapy (EFT), while integrating mindfulness practices from my training and experience as a certified yoga and meditation instructor. I value providing person-centered, trauma-informed, strengths-based counselling to individuals, couples, and families.

my full professional experience can be found on my LinkedIn here
